White Helmets sent humanitarian aid to Bahamas after Hurricane Joaquín

The humanitarian aid provided by Argentina, through the White Helmets Commission, arrived to Bahamas in order to alleviate the emergency caused by the Hurricane Joaquín in that Caribbean country during October.

The Humanitarian Assistance consisted in a donation of water purifiers for 5,000,000 liters, a prime commodity qualified like urgent to attend by the local authorities and the Pan American Health Organization in charge of the emergency device. This is due to the lack of safe water for human consumption in the islands.

Argentina made the offer of Humanitarian Assistance early on October after that the alert was established in Bahamas because of the Hurricane Joaquín, which damaged homes and interrupted basic services such as electricity and telecommunications.
